How has math affected you in your life?

I have always enjoyed math, but I didn’t think it really affected my life very much until I started working on The Lost Function. Now I see that math is really everywhere and it affects many areas of our lives, even though we may not always be aware of it.

What is the best thing about working for an educational game company?

I think the best thing would have to be working with so many creative people. I really enjoy collaborating with my coworkers on projects and seeing everyone’s ideas come together to create something that we are all proud of.

Who is your favorite character in the game?

That would definitely have to be Hans, the baker. He was one of the first NPC’s we created. When you read his dialogue, you have to imagine it with an Austrian accent.

What are your interests outside of work?

I’ve always been interested in interior design and decorating, and I always seem to have some kind of DIY project going on at home. Right now we’re painting our kitchen cabinets! I love repainting or refinishing old furniture. I also enjoy working in the yard and lately I have also been doing some indoor gardening, making small terrariums with miniature plants.
